I love to edit. And I’d love to take your prose and improve it. I’m a stickler when it comes to grammar, spelling and syntax. I’ve had experience writing, editing and proofreading newspaper and magazine articles, Web copy, email marketing campaigns, promotional radio scripts, fundraising appeals and non-fiction books.
Need help telling the story of your company or your product?
As a former business reporter at two daily newspapers, I’m accustomed to converting complex business and technical data into accessible and lively prose for the general reader. And if you’re looking for someone who is both detail-oriented and passionate, look no further.
I’m also versatile. As a journalist, I’ve written about everything from semiconductor and optoelectronic firms to beer startups and Japanese holiday traditions. My work has appeared in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Newsday, Atlanta magazine and online at Mother Nature Network.
Audio reporting, podcasting and tape syncs
I worked most recently as a radio and digital reporter for Georgia Public Broadcasting where I covered the state Capitol. I’ve also worked as a freelance reporter at WABE 90.1, Atlanta’s NPR station. My work has appeared on national radio programs such as All Things Considered, Marketplace and The Takeaway. I’m available for tape syncs.
Need help with media appearances and interviews? I’ll help you make your points succinctly, feel at ease and sound more polished on air and in print.
